Unbelievable! The annual NYC performance of Terry Riley’s In C we organize is turning TWENTY. Lincoln Center will host our biggest concert yet, outdoors and free to the public in Damrosch Park on Sunday, June 30 at 8pm, as part of the Summer for the City festival. We’ve assembled a blowout ensemble to perform Terry’s masterpiece—plus a few surprise guests will be announced closer to the event. The score of In C (which turns 60 this year!) provides a space of peaceful, spontaneous coexistence, wherein each individual is responsible for their own choices and the well-being of the entire community. As the music (and our annual concert) ages, it symbolizes more and more the necessity for collective listening, play, and celebration.
