Some years back, I was asked by a show to creatively rip off some music by a folk pop band who shall remain nameless. I obliged the producers, and using the most basic and rudimentary default sounds that came with logic 8, I created a track titled “Helen.” Ironically over the years, the streaming life of this track has dwarfed all of the other albums of “serious music” which I have toiled over. And most ironically, it was used for a few moments in this new Beverly Hills Cop movie.
